The Centre for Hardware Security Entrepreneurship Research and Development (C-HERD) is a Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, India (MeitY), Government of India (GoI)  funded national-level initiative of the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) in partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-Madras) and Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT-KGP).
